I am interested in frameworks for addressing organic resource recycling for multi-functional urban food production, as well as the environmental impacts of urban agriculture, especially as they relate to water resources. I have a doctoral degree in Freshwater Sciences and a Master's degree in Urban Planning/Public Administration, all from UW-Milwaukee. I also served on the board of Outpost Natural Foods Cooperative for ten years, and as Board President 2012-2015. I am currently involved in an initiative to develop technologies, partnerships, and local sites for organic resource recovery for soil amendment and food production. I also serve as an advisor to a research project focused on soils, resource recovery, and urban agriculture in the Milwaukee region.
