Current graduate student in Environment and Resources at UW-Madison's Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies focusing on issues in food systems and urban agriculture. My thesis research will examine the state of composting within the City of Milwaukee and offer means to establish a sustainable composting infrastructure that will allow the diversion of food and other organic residuals and produce quality compost for urban food production.
In addition, I'm an advocate for science education and public engagement in scientific and sustainability issues including agriculture and environmental justice.
